UnWholly by Neal Shusterman

5.0

This book... THIS BOOK! Stunning! Fantastic! Incredible!
There are different POVs and different stories of Connor/Risa, Lev/Marcus, Starkey/Connor, Lev/Miracolina, Risa/Cam. Their interactions are interesting to read, especially I loved Lev/Miracolina and Connor/Risa.

New characters are introduced, all interesting to read about, all colorful personalities to enjoy. Starkey , the one I hated, cunning, sociopath Unwind. Miracolina , a tithe, annoying at first, which then I loved through the book. Cam , a human being created with unwound parts, with different kinds of emotions to deal with, trying to be accepted by society and loved by Risa. All these characters, which Neal Shusterman created masterfully. Even The evil ones like Roberta and Stanley.
The plot is exciting and more emotional than the first one, with lots of memorable quotes and thoughts. The morality discussions, the ethics which are hard to determine right and wrong. No black or white, but gray through the book.

Lev is the star of this story! Lev is the most beautifully developed character here, Lev is the one suffered and yet became his kind self. I love the main three characters and Lev shines in this one the most.

The twists and turns of the story made it hard to put down. I loved the way the history of unwinding came to light, and the way plot thickened. I am anxious to read the next book, to find out how Lev and Connor doing, what happened to Risa, what Starkey and Cam will do next to accoplish their goals.

And I want to see the downfall of Unwinding... For once and all!
