Wow! I loved this even more than the first, which already was so, so good!
This one concludes the main ARC from book one, but also opened up a whole new Pandora's box for book two...
The characters grow even more in depth and gain more I side I to themselves, as well as those around them.
At the heart of it there's loyalties, betrayals, traditions and rebellion.
The world is less clear cut on good and bad sides, and instead we get insight into the "enemies" as well, which made it even more of an emotional sucker punch.
I loved some of the revelations here, especially the way mental health was tackled.
My only gripe - how on earth am I supposed to wait for the next one?!? I'm so glad I waited a bit after release, so the wait for book 3 is shorter...
