I just couldn't get into this book. The writer is very poetic, way to poetic for me. the story of Toby Maytree, his life, his wife in Cape Cod and then later in Maine. Most of the characters in this book are older, college educated, but none of them really work. They are living on the beach, they work as long as it doesn't interfere with their lives. I just didn't get it.
