Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

What a brilliant book as it lives up to all the hype that was promised. I haven't read any of TJR's other books and I surely want to, now!

What definitely works for the book is the interview-mode of writing the book. It speeds up the story and never feels like you are stuck in any character's perspective. The shifts are fast-paced and it does take a while to get used to the character names. Another HUGE plus would be the lead character; i.e, Daisy Jones. It's so refreshing to have a woman being unapologetic, unabashed about herself, about women in general. Doesn't mince any words and frankly doesn't give a hoot to what people think about her physical appearance. Boy, oh boy! 5 stars from me!!
