Feeling very hungry after this. Not just for food but for like life? I thought this could have gone a bit deeper, and there were some moments along the way where I was just like “why was this included?” or “why didn’t we come back to this?” I also can’t say I connected with the writing, something about it was hard to engage with and I kept catching myself skimming and not missing much by doing so. Mostly I enjoyed it, love me a good vampire book, especially when it helps us reflect on larger topics, but for it being a vampire book I wished for more!
