The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye by David Lagercrantz
3.0
i don't really know why i'm still reading these--loyalty? to lisbeth? to larsen for being the gateway to my love for scandinavian thrillers? i don't know. the lagercrantz versions aren't as good but still a compelling read. lisbeth is actually the least compelling character in this one--was way more into what mikael was doing--and there was a little too much going on. mining lisbeth's troubled past for the narrative is getting old--it'd be okay if they just solve a cool mystery, it doesn't have to be personal. the whole side story with faria was too much.
