Scrambled Eggs and Lemsip by Lily Morton

I loved seeing Gabe jealous here. I don’t know what it is with me and jealousy, but I eat it up every single time; especially if it’s the grumpy/stoic one who gets all jealous. It just hits in all the right spots for me.
Anyway, obviously this story also featured Gabe’s proposal, and it was quite sweet. However, I have to admit that I personally would prefer to be proposed to when I’m not sick, but oh well. I suppose it’s the thought and promise of a future that counts.
So, obviously this had quite a few cute themes, but I couldn’t help but feel like it was a teeny tiny bit boring. Maybe that was just me, though, because I can see why others would eat it up completely.

Everything I see in my future has you in it, so I need a ring on your finger and one on mine because I want the world to know we belong together.”
