Rilla of Ingleside
by L.M. Montgomery
It was interesting reading this for the first time after many years. Its hyper-patriotic view of World War I was extremely simplified, which could be pretty cringey in places. There was one pacifist character who was widely mocked and vilified, treated as barely one step removed from being a traitor. I'm still very fond of it as part of one of my most beloved series, but my feelings are more complicated than they used to be.
