that is literally how the book left me, and im going to be really honest, volume three HAS to be the best one out of the 3 published rn. I AM SO EXCITED FOR VOL 4 AFTER THIS.

gu mang regaining his memories was so so sooo unexpected and sudden. and moreover, MURONG CHUYI??? I AM SO HAPPY MY MAN IS GETTING MORE AND MORE ATTENTION NOW, i need to know whats happening between him and jiang fexue (i think that was his name, im sorry im an old woman) and then mo xi trying to help gu mang in the time mirror to him helplessly staying by gu mangs side. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH MEATBUN'S WAY OF WRITING AND HER CONTRASTS AND SIMILIES AND METAPHORS AND EVERYTHING TO THE WAY SHE SHOWS THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT UGH ITS SO PRETTY, LIKE THE EMPERORS CHARACTER CHANGING IS SO VISIBLE, AND GU MANG'S TOO. im gonna be so honest, i like no memory gu mang more than general gu. general gu is just hurting my baby mo xi now GAH JUST KISS ALREADY BOTH OF YOU. omg also a lu zhanxing art panel?? his past lore uncovered?? i will never forgive that man for how he ruined gu mangs life
