Inside The Maelstrom: Part Two by Grace McGinty

5.0

This was a wondrous whirlwind of a contemporary romance. While the first part really held on to the wild escapism, mental health battles, and lust - this conclusion really built on the aspect that family is who you make, not who your blood ties you to.

However, Without spoiling the plot, the final chapters really showcase the depth characters can display even side characters.

This one felt more contemporary than the first, especially with so much focus on court and politics. It was well written, developed a unique harem dynamic I haven’t seen before, and really showed how you can have a well-written plot while not shying away from the spice.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
