Wow! I was invested in this couple and their story! It left me tired the next day because I stayed up way too late reading.

I find it difficult to discuss the book without give away spoilers. Lucian is an alpha male. Gypsy is a woman who has never taken an order or followed rules. So when you combine the two, some explosions happen.

Now I'll go into the spoilery bits and trigger warnings.
This is an age-gap romance. I didn't see that mentioned in the reviews I read (but I also didn't read a lot because I preferred not to know too much). Lucian also has a bit of a daddy complex. At first I thought the book was going into full on daddy kink. To start Lucian controls Gypsy as a daddy - setting her bedtime, making her eat all her dinner, not allowing her to say foul words. However, once Gypsy followed Lucian's rules, the daddy vibe goes away pretty much completely.

There were only three things I didn't completely understand and wished were explained better. One, the Roma gypsy bit. I know NOTHING about gypsies ad therefore was very confused when Gypsy first meets Luna. Two, Lucian's "death". I'm still confused about when exactly the insulin overdose happened and how his "death" came about. Three, Nolan's motive for trying to kill Lucian and Gypsy. Would he have received Lucian's estate if Lucian and Gypsy were dead????
