What did I even just read lmao. I didn’t hate it though! Definitely more gore and body horror than scary and supernatural. If you like vamps that are more like supernatural dean and Sam Winchester esc vamps then you might like this! This was completely fun if you suspend your belief long enough. This was like the author say down said “let’s play never ending story” and just made stuff up along the way but it kinda works. Lots of lust and blood in this one.
Was a vamp orgy on my 2025 bucket list? No but here we are. I thought this was good in a fever dream kind of way. Don’t pick this up if you’re looking for a literary masterpiece like Dracula type fiction, but maybe just read it for bloody fun and don’t take it so seriously.
Both our main characters are kinda insufferable, one has Asperger’s of sorts and one of them is a “pick me” manic pixie dream girl. They are best friends, go on holiday and find them selves in deep shit when they accept a fun night out from a hot stranger. What follows is a series of unfortunate events. Sorta.
