The Last Emperox
by John Scalzi
An unsatisfactory ending to a wonderful fast paced space opera. There was tons of potential after the ending of Book 2 - exploration of the lost planets, sealing the rupture or what the nature of the Interdependency would be in the future. Instead we got a toned down version of the same conspiracy in book 2, and a love lost (which pissed me off the most). Add in a ridiculous number of plot points that don't make sense, dumb pointless introspections and a vague ending that most readers saw coming, and here we are. Still, would recommend this as a closure for those who already finished 1 and 2
