Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World by Cal Newport
5.0
In my current quest to make the acts of my life more significant and meaningful to my own goals, I found Deep Work to be a really strong argument for truly living the life that you want, not half-living, and half-waiting, or half-watching from the sidelines. For anyone who has looked at the clock and wondered how the day got away from them without anything truly getting done, or who are frustrated by their poor discipline around social media or web-surfing during the work day, this is a good book. Newport skillfully discusses both the philosophy behind his approach and practical steps - both his own and those employed by others - to put deeper work at the forefront of your life.
