Palaces for the People: How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization, and the Decline of Civic Life by Eric Klinenberg

slow-paced

3.75

Very informative and well researched book. Discusses the importance of libraries, parks, cafes, urban gardens, and places of communal gathering (even as small  as the hallway where parents wait to pick up their children from school) as places where people can interact and get to know others they may not usually interact with.

This book gives me hope for our future
