I really enjoyed this book.
We follow two timelines. The first follows Ayesha who move from India to the US to attend High School. She falls in love with a boy (Suresh), she gets pregnant and one thing leads to another. Suresh returns to India and she decides to have the baby with the help of Mel and Sam who decide to adopt Ayesha's baby (Mira). Ayesha returns to India but tells no one that she had a child.
The second timeline follows Mira as she navigates society growing up with her two white mums. They are both such great people. Anyways Mira finds a box that Ayesha left her, in it she found a letter that asks her to come to India when she is 18 years old. Mira decides to go find Ayesha in India.
I am trying so hard not to spoil this book. Please do check it out, I really loved it.
