This book is not my cup of tea. I have realised that a book like this can only be digested as a movie ( at best), at least for me. I wish I could say that I enjoyed reading this book, like the raving reviews it got, but 50 pages in, and I was reading it to scratch the itch. I would rather spend my time reading something informative or maybe a book I liked as a child. I know the whole point of this book was to anger the reader, loathe the characters, and pity them. But after a while, the characters were too much to digest. I don't want to read a psycho-analysis of sociopaths.
Graphic: Body horror, Self harm, Toxic relationship, Blood, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Cursing and Dementia
Minor: Domestic abuse, Death of parent, and Injury/Injury detail
