The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

3.5

This is a story of hope and horror, set in the Auschwitz Birkenau camp. It follows Lale, a prisoner working as a Tattooist throughout his 3 years in the camp and the awful acts that happened during that time.

I feel that this book sometimes lacks in description and often speeds through details that would help to connect with the characters. But overall, a powerful story and that I would recommend.
