[edited after reading another book in the series] if you are looking for a fun friends to lovers romance, i don’t know if this is the book for you. the rom-com aspect is the b-plot to alexis and noah working through traumas they have and an unexpected medical emergency. super easy to read and enjoy esp during a stressful time or a reading slump, but generally not what it advertises itself to be. i liked noah a lot, alexis less. i didn’t love the plot because i didn’t find the
“long-lost family needs an organ and of course i will oblige!”
to be convincing, i hated candi and i felt like elliot didn’t deserve it! overall, a fun read but not my favorite!
