Another heart stopper!
I've been enthralled with the Laurel Snow series from the very first book, captivated by the slow-building romance between the MC's, and eagerly counting down the days until her psychotic sister finally gets what she deserves.
With so many characters having justified motives for revenge, the story keeps you guessing as you try to unravel who the real villain is. The last five chapters had me holding my breath--and at one point, I even had to put the book in the freezer!
I thoroughly enjoyed the intricate webs the author weaves around the brutal killings and mysterious happenings, but my patience with Abigail is wearing thin. That said, I can't recommend the audiobooks for this series enough--they truly bring the story to life!
Be aware that there are trigger warnings, so it's worth checking those out before diving in. And trust me, these books are best enjoyed in order!
