DNF. this is the WORST fucking book i have ever read in 2022 and ever!!
the MFC is an overly obnoxious Pick Me who’s only personality traits are being horny and screaming “I HATE YOU” at the top of her lungs while being passed around this group of brothers. she’s unbearable. and it’s not even enemies to lovers it’s just….. ew. gross. boring. i wanted to throw up after that one sex scene with diesel.
the MMCs were bad too, but not as much as her. the writing seems like it was done by a 14 year old experiencing puberty for the first time. not only did the characters suck, and the writing, and the almost non existent plot, but even the gore and spice weren’t even good. nothing about this book was good. i wanted to drown in bleach after reading the first few chapters.
there’s no structure, no plot building, it’s all 2 dimensional and poorly written and executed. and there was so much sex it became repetitive and boring.
not to mention the internalized misogyny…? like, be so serious right now. that’s gross. not even mentioning the “pfft, i’m not like other girls” bullshit. if i could punch Roxy i would not even hesitate.
it’s just truly a horrible book and now i know not to ever read anything from this author again. if i could give it a negative 14 star review i would. if i could un-read it i would. if i could eat this book, chew it up, and vomit back up, i would. this book is horrendously awful. no.
