Blood Engines by T.A. Pratt

5.0

I initially bought this, read a few pages, and took it back because I couldn't sympathize with the main character. After reading reviews of this book and the next two in the series, I decided I should give it another try. My initial impression was wrong--this is an admittedly blunt-weapon of a female character, but she is far from being an unsympathetic one. When you understand what motivates her, you can't help but get swept up in her story.
