I love the way Olivia Dade writes a romance novel. It was an absolute joy to step into the day to day to day of these two teachers who feel so isolated in their own ways and through an unexpected friendship open up - though be it reluctantly. Olivia also somehow manages to take me into the most contemporary settings (like a high school classroom) and with her magic I feel completely brought into the world of the characters and I don't want to leave.
I listened to the audiobook and once again was delighted by Kelsey Navarro's performance! She has narrated several of Olivia's books and she is incredible.
Content Warnings
divorce
workplace harrassment
misogyny
death of a parent (in the past)
