Well that was....something.

I knew what I was going to be reading when I decided to pick it up, and I also knew that people like Tucker Max exist, but I am shocked at how proud he is of his degeneracy and how far into adulthood he took it. Or is still taking it. I hope for his sake he's calmed down, but he probably hasn't.

I will read an extreme or shocking book from time to time, just to mix things up when I'm feeling a little too comfortable in my own skin. I can't say that this read was all that shocking, but he was pretty extreme. At least when it came to drinking or debasing women.

It did get a little monotonous after some time. It was basically the same story over and over again. "I got really drunk, I am super funny, I had sex with a random girl, pissed her off and/or got in a lot of trouble."

But there were a couple of stand out stories that made me actually laugh out loud. The best story of the whole book was him running across a hotel lobby and losing the battle of holding back the angry effects of copious amounts of alcohol and an unusable hotel room toilet. Nothing like the complete embarrassment and permanent ban from all of Embassy Suites for the rest of time to give me a good chuckle.

Other than that it was pretty rinse, lather, repeat for the stories. Frat boy lifestyle, drinking until getting sick, friends hyping up just how hilarious and amazing he is, hooking up with as many random chicks as possible while demeaning and offending them....it was about what I expected.

Writing was ok, stories were ok unless you're really into juvenile bathroom humor and objectifying women..... so overall it was ok. Obviously don't think too hard into it because there's nothing to get there.
