I teared up at this story. This was may be even better than Wonder. It made me so so sad (like the grandmother's story) especially because Julian realizes what a jerk he was and you get some resolution from Wonder, as well as insight and backstory into the motivations behind the characters.

It's a cool concept, to take a side character and turn her/him into the main character of the next story. I really enjoyed that, because stories generally act like the side character doesn't exist except to propel the plot or the main character's development. I like how she adds some 3D elements to the first book.
