This is a book of siblings reconciling their past is different ways. A handful of siblings grow up in an abusive home and once discovered, are all adopted to separate families. They come back together once both parents die and leave them all the house of horrors they grew up in. Heartbreaking story. It’s told in long chapters as our main character, Lex reconnects with each sibling to get them to sign legal papers regarding the house. As she meets with them in present day, she remembers their shared past.
