I am really grateful to Schuyler Bailar to creating something this informative and helpful. I really appreciated how he added his own personal experience with helpful advice on how to be a good ally and general reminders for being courteous around people whose experiences are different from yours.
I’m sure a lot of this information is something people understand from being online and informed, but there are a lot of statistics to back up assertions made in the book about how trans people are positively impacted by access to gender affirming care and negatively impacted by harmful legislation that seems to be put forward, despite the data, just to gain more control of other people’s bodies.
