Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling

3.0

Hey guys, so I just finished reading The original screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them by JK Rowling and honestly? I just skimmed the last half of it. Not because it was boring, but cause I just wasn't getting into it. The writing, though in script form, which I have no trouble reading, was great. Yet I just wasn't really connected to the book. Yes, I immediately liked Newt, but that was pretty much it. Also, I did enjoy the trickles of humor here and there. However, I was left slightly confused by the whole ordeal. But maybe that's just because it was a script, not a book. It's not going to have a detailed plot or deep characters in the sense that'd I'd prefer. I was reading it to get ready for the movie, but perhaps I should have watched the movie first then read it. So it would make more sense. I dunno.
