4.25 Stars This was so much more than I expected! A great sci-fi story with some romance and a little question of what it is that makes a person a person. I found the writing to be solid with well-developed characters and a good plot.
Although Kell being put in another body was odd at first, and it took a while to change my image of him in my mind, it added so much to the story. I loved how Kell and Jorihn’s relationship developed. No insta-love here! The sex scenes were purposeful and added to the story but didn’t dominate the page space. The villain was a little bit of a baddie caricature but there was enough variance in the other characters to balance it.
If you like a little romance with your sci-fi, I suggest checking this out!
