First off I just want to say that in my opinion I think if you are thinking of reading the EIT books you should then you can read Veiled. It is stated that it is a standalone novel but I felt that there was a lot of main story lines mentioned from the EIT series that will spoil EIT for you. For me it was a great reminder of how great the EIT series was and now I want to re read the series. Anyway... on to my thoughts.
It was so so good to be back in the world of EIT, it was fun to catch up with Dex and Perry (oh how I have missed them). But it fell short for me. I am not really sure what I wanted this book to be. It wasn't amazing or perfect but it was fun. I think there is a lot more to the story and I hope another book is written.
