The is one of the better books of the series! It was just so good. Kept me captivated from page one.
I question if it's bad that i really like Kiev. i can't wait to read his books. i need to figure out where in Forrest's series does this one follow.
The book starts out with Sophia and Derek who get captured and separated. There's a five month jump in which they don't see each other. The jump took my by surprise because it was so sudden. No actual lead up to it. It doesn't tell us what really happened in all those months in the Shade. They were planning before and then after the jump they started again. No mention of their plans in those months.
Overall, I was hooked from page one to the final page. So good!
