Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka

3.5

This book was fantastic, really interesting, well written, with a super original premise. So, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering reading it.

However, it wasn't really my vibe. But that's because I'm a character person and I felt no connection or intrigue with any characters. Not because I dislike unreliable or 'evil' narrators (I did think Lolita was really good for example), I just didn't feel anything for any of the characters including the women. I might be weird, because I know this book was objectively good, I just felt nothing!
