I absolutely adore J. R. R. Tolkien! The Lord of the Rings movies are someone of my all time favorites! I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing the differences between the movies and the books! There were some things I was curious why they changed in the movies. The reason this books wasn’t a five star for me though is because it can be very slow at times. I did find myself getting bored occasionally. I also think that if I hadn’t seen the movies I would have been way more confused. It can be a little hard to follow at times because of all the information. With all that said I still really enjoyed the book!
