A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

”To the blessed darkness from which we are born, and to which we return.”

I love this book. I really do. No darker plots or heartbreaking nonsense. It is just a fairly light book about a group of friends and a court healing from the war and celebrating a holiday months later. It indeed shows the shadows looming around Velaris, about the losses in the war like the blurb on the back suggested, but in a soft and tender way.

I really recommend this book, or story rather due to the length, to lovers of the ACOTAR series that want more Feyre and Rhysand and aren’t ready for more heartbreaks. It also fits really well as a bridge between ACOWAR and the next book.

The preview of the next book at the end of this one has a whole different vibe and I think this vibe will connect something that happened towards the end of the book, something Mor thought to see somewhere towards the end of the book. Maybe it’s nothing, but the preview is looking really good and a strong start of next book. I can’t wait!
