Hearts, Fingers, and Other Things to Cross by Katie Finn

3.0

So first off, I loved the idea of the setting with them being trapped together in a mansion during a hurricane and I think it worked really well for the story. There were a lot of issues things that I think were never resolved or were just kind of left hanging and just brushed over for some reason which really bothered me (like the issue that their parents literally got married and didn't tell their children but when they found out there was no talk had about it or at least a light apology???). And again there were a lot of "surprises" that I felt should have been obvious to the characters like how Gwyneth was there the whole time or the problem with the generator tanks. They just kind of kept happening and to be honest I was getting pretty sick of how obvious it all seemed.

Overall I would probably have to say the second book was my favorite out of the three, but I loved the conclusion with Ford and Gemma. Also I thought that having the epilogue narrated by Hallie was a great idea and was executed well.
