I had this book sitting on my to-read list for a little while and I ended up bringing it home after a trip to the bookstore. I had to get it because I'm a sucker for retellings of fairytales and the male character is named Prince Kai, so I, of course, snatched it up. (Fellow EXO-L, you know how it is.)
My friend online also had this book and she was going to read it with me but when I sat down to read it, I didn't stop. I finished it before she even had a chance to catch up.
I love this book! The characters, the plot, the details, the world building, THE SARCASM. I'm not huge on dystopian but there's just enough fairytale, fantasy, and romance mixed in that I was hooked immediately.
I'm so hooked right now and I'm waiting very impatiently for my copy of the second book to arrive.
