I wish there was more explanation to the world building and when we do get some of it it’s pretty late in the book. I didn’t seem to catch the reason for this 200 year war and so that’s a little disappointing. Maybe it will be brought up later? Otherwise that is literally the only issue I have with this book. Everything else was perfect. Tau LITERALLY goes to hell and back to get revenge for all he’s lost to the war and the nobles. Definitely beyond excited for Evan Winter to rip my heart out in book 2.
