I'll be honest: I'd been quietly dreading the Moist Von Lipwig novels. I didn't like his name, and I assumed from the covers that I wouldn't like him

I should have known to trust Sir Terry more than that.

Moist Von Lipqig was a very charming character, and I loved following his growth throughout the novel, as well as getting to witness his cleverness.

And, as always, Terry Pratchett is great with his social commentary; in this case, it's about capitalism and its disregard for human life and its insistence on cutting corners until its no longer functioning: something that is painfully apparent these days even more than when Pratchett wrote this book nearly twenty years ago.

Overall, I loved this a whole lot, and I'm very much looking forward to the next Moist Von Lipwig novels.
