I stepped away from the Emperor's Edge series after reading the book before this, and I had this book in on my kindle for quite awhile. Once I started reading it, it was so easy to slip into the world, the writing, and the characters. It was like visiting with old friends and making new ones. If you are an Emperor's Edge fan, this book does not disappoint.
