I really really enjoyed this! This was my first Annabel Monaghan book. I feel like this was a satisfying way to end the season of summer reads βοΈ
This book had such a lovely literary fiction feel with just the right hint of romance. I really connected with Sam, her growth and inner thoughts felt so real, like things I find myself reflecting on in my own life. The beach setting added a whimsical, dreamy touch that made the whole story feel like a perfect summer escape.
I look forward to reading more from this author π
