I read this one out of order because I didn't realize there were novellas in between. This one takes place during Eve and Roarke's first Christmas as husband and wife but begins with a flashback Prologue all the way to the beginning as Eve met Roark. One of her earlier cases has re emerged to bring death and chaos her life.
I enjoyed this but have no doubt it would have been better if read in series order.
