I found this quite magnificent. I’m usually not captured by ornate prose, but by the end of the book, found the writing style absolutely wonderful. I just had to get used to it! This has to have been one of my favorite reads of the year. Mid-way through I thought it would be a four, but the ending fully took my heart into its hands. I’ll also say that reading this has made me keen on the idea of “time wars.” My next task shall be doing a deep dive to see if I can find any books with similar vibes.
