Very cute book......... a guy inherits his uncle's supervillain mansion, complete with genetically engineered talking cats, and has to fix a bunch of problems
It's like Dungeon Crawler Carl but not as good
Or well... without the anarchic energy, with more conventional poking fun at James Bond tropes
Vaguely leftist (the talking dolphins are unionizing!) and interested in the logistics of villainy (satellite lasers are never used but big companies just pay the villain as a deterrent to each other)
And of course in the end the main character was Simply A Pawn and goes back to his normal life
Not a ton to this book, but I gulped it down in like a day and enjoyed it greatly
