Working Girls: Trixie and Katya's Guide to Professional Womanhood by Trixie Mattel, Katya

funny informative lighthearted fast-paced

2.75

While some of the chapters feature clever quips and some amusing anecdotes, most of this satire falls flat. I’d expected something either a little more serious or a little more outrageously funny. This middle ground is disappointing. That said, it’s not wholly bad. Where this shines is in the autobiographical elements, particularly surrounding the authors’ experience with drag, sex work, and being fired from various jobs.
