** spoiler alert ** This was a breath of fresh air to listen to!!!
I decided to listen to its audio on the whim (seeing it was only 9 hrs) long and am in awe!!!!
The writing is unique and I enjoyed Juliet's genuine character and knowing her inner thoughts vs what she actually said. I've grown accustomed to the scratching sound that indicates what she wanted to say vs what she said instead.
The writing gave poetic aspects that I am obsessed with ๐ similar to the Mirage duology by Somaiya Daud. I was immediately drawn in and engrossed with the writing...I want to kick myself for not giving this series a chance sooner.
I wholeheartedly love Adam's character and his little brother๐ ๐๐ . Warner....gives me mixed emotions. From the mass authority bestowed upon him in his early teens to his weird fetish for Juliet๐๐. Nearly every scene with him had me wanting to fully cover myself from head to toe๐คฃ๐.
I love its blue cover with the lone eye. It's really symbolic with the vibe of the story and just peeks my interest.
I am EXCITED to continue this series!!!
