It’s not as bad as The Promise, but I am not reading anymore of the comics.

The story regarding Ursa wasn’t that bad but the Azula and Zuko dynamic was not that good. Like, I get he wanted to help her, but there’s a BIG difference between having faith and being dangerously naïve. The more I read these, the more I feel like I’m not reading the same characters from the show. Like, the dynamic of the group seems pre-Western Air Temple and Zuko’s faith in Azula feels pre Season 3.

This is no where near as bad as The Promise, but it’s just so underwhelming, especially considering where the characters were in the last half of Season 3. That show had some of the best character work of any show I’ve seen, and these are an underwhelming follow up.
