I grew up and was raised a Roman Catholic. I must say that I am absolutely maddened... with how much I was laughing at some points lol. I am not one for apocalyptic stories about the end of the world because I'm very much that nervous Nancy who is constantly worrying about every little thing that goes on and how it can easily be translated into "OMG the end is nigh!" But honestly, this book made me feel better hahaha. Made me think... what if, and/or how many times have we not all perished because of these types of events. I'm a firm believer in heaven and hell and everything that all entails. But I'm also a believer that not everything is as hardcore as we're led to believe. So when I read stories like this I really get into them and enthralled in the way they set up the modern take on history/religion of it all. It reminded me a lot of Dogma for some reason and I was all there for it. I listened to the audiobook (shocker) and the awesome David Tennant as Crowley always had me smiling.

4.5/5! I'm implementing a 1/2 star system now since Goodreads has yet to do it.
