If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern
2.0
If You Could See Me Now didn´t really evoke any emotions or thoughts in me, even though it was very much trying to pull on the reader´s heart strings. In my case it just didn´t work. Ahern´s books usually have some magical element, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don´t. Unfortunately this one belongs to the latter group. I don´t find the writing to be anything special either. I read If You Could See Me Now in less than a day, but mostly because I´m desperately trying to reach my reading goal. Though I can´t deny that this is an easy, quick, and quite a relaxing read. It also cheered me up and as I haven´t read this kind of literature in a long while, it was a welcomed change.
