I read this book after my husband recommended it. I’m a thriller lover and he wanted me to give Brown a try. I have to admit, this book definitely had my interest, it was action packed, drama filled, and race against time which is always a crowd pleaser. I know Brown is very popular and I may continue with the series just to see how it goes.
As action packed as it is, it also made me roll my eyes about a billion times. How many times can the guy fake die to get past the killer and be successful. Like he would actually leave you lying there without checking if you were dead.
There were so many moments where Langdon should have died, but he survived. It’s like one of those action movies that are popular. It’s enjoyable but unrealistic.
If you love action packed thrillers this one may be right up your alley!! As thick as the book is, it’s a fast read. It’s one of those books that trick you into reading way past your bed time.
