The Hunger Games were the first books that made me fall in love with reading. So years later, reading this was really nostalgic and sentimental.
The book has a strong start. It catches us right away and doesn't let go until the last page.
While I knew how the book would end, I was still surprised. The plot twists were epic. And honestly, none of it was predictable to me.
This book took us on a deep dive into the people and the world, which was refreshing considering the original trilogy didn't do that at all.
I do feel like I outgrew this series, which is good, as the younger ones will enjoy it a lot.
There's a lot of talk about whether this book was needed ot if it was just there for the money. I can't decide, I just know I liked it.
